December 2005

URGENT, The TCRG needs members to step up and volunteer to serve on the board for next year. So far, Mark Crichton has volunteered to be the Rumble Sheet editor; Duane Shuck, Vice President; Tom Halfpenney has decided to stay on as treasurer; Kent Tabako will stay as membership chairman; Bill Blood will stay on as Secretary. That leaves ONLY the President and Activities Director to be filled. Will YOU volunteer to take over one of those spots? If you haven’t already done so, fill out the annual TCRG Banquet registration form and send it in. We have made it easy to pay your dues and register for the banquet at the same time. You can also bring it to the Dec. meeting. Also contact me if you have a “Zonk” award to give this year.

The December membership meeting will be our annual Christmas party. The Tabako’s will be collecting toys for the Toys for Tots, and the Bloods will be taking donations for the food shelf. (Either non-perishable food or monetary donations will be accepted). Also if you would like to bring some Christmas type goodies to share that would be great. (I like those old fashioned frosted sugar cookies in shapes). We will be playing a game for some FABULOUS prizes. The Dec. board meeting will be at Bill Bloods.

Merry Christmas to all.
Dennis

For the last 2 years our club has participated in the World Of Wheels Car Show which has been held at the Minneapolis Convention Center in March. For the year 2006 it will be held on February 3,4,& 5 at the convention center. We had 4 cars on display the first year, and 6 cars on display this year.
Do we have any interest to exhibit cars in 2006 since it will be held in February? If there is interest, then we will sign up and pay the low exhibit fee. Let Tom Halfpenny know if you are willing to provide a car for the World of Wheels car show by December 15, 2005. Tom can be reached by phone at 651-738-0838 or email: tmhalfpenny@aol.com

See the original Batmobile and Munster Koach. See NASCAR Legend Rusty Wallace on Saturday. George Barris, King of the Kustomizers, all weekend. And of course the Texas Bikini Team will be braving the Minnesota winter for male enjoyment.
